Main Islamic Sciences


Department of Main Islamic Sciences consists of sub-departments that aim to deal with and teach the most known areas of research, which emerged in the history of Islamic Thought, at an academic level. It is essential to have works composed in an academic perspective in the various areas of Islamic thought to produce sound knowledge of religion. In order to meet this need and produce scholarly studies in accordance with the universal principles of science, our department is composed of seven sub-departments which are the Quranic Exegesis (Tafsir), the Prophetic Traditions (Hadith), Islamic Theology (Kalam), Islamic Law (Fiqh), History of Islamic Sects, Islamic Mysticism, Arabic Language and Rhetoric with 49 academicians.
